I remember when my Best Friend first fell in love and she told me this song spoke to her. I’ve always loved “Half Crazy” but never truly understood it’s message. I mean of course I understood the subject matter, but not the MESSAGE. And now, I can say that I do. I definitely have to shout out my DMV fam and throw support behind our artist Wale. He is truly bringing back what Hip-Hop is and his writing as well as his talent is endless! He truly concocted an EXCELLENT hip-hop album of 2009 and I look forward to more great things from him in these coming years. He has put DC on the map musically and we will continue to rise and PROVE that the REAL DC is more than Politics. Our culture is so full of the Arts and we’re never recognized for all the Talent we have in our City. That WILL change, I promise.
